About Camp Braveheart

Camp Braveheart is a Christ-centered camp designed to meet the unique spiritual and emotional needs of youth who are walking the journey of grief after the death of someone they dearly love. By understanding the grief process, the campers learn how to identify their feelings and how to express them in healthy ways.

The feelings of being all alone and no one understanding are defused when, not only do they realize God’s presence in their lives, but they are with others in similar circumstances. Being fearful, anxious, angry, exhausted, lonely and paralyzed by guilt are overwhelming, but normal emotions of grief.

2. Understanding the grief process;
3. Establishing a vocabulary to express their emotions;
4. Learning healthy coping skills to manage this difficult season in life; and
5. Providing a safe place to express their grief in order to bring healing into their lives and adjust to their new normal.

Provide a Scholarship

Every child that attends camp has the opportunity to celebrate the life of someone special in their lives. You can help support a child by donating towards our scholarship fund. Each year we need $60,000 to ensure everyone that wants to go to camp can go.
